Dr Paul Farres was invited to the opening of the World Soil Museum.

The museum is part of the Unesco-funded International Soil Reference and Information Centre (ISRIC). It will showcase the ISIRC’s work on the importance of soils and soil science.

Dr Farres said: ‘I am honoured to have been invited to speak at a project which will make such a fantastic contribution to soils education.’
