A MUSIC festival has raised more than £6,000 for charities.

A Midsummer Music Festival was organised by the Bedales Parents’ Association (BPA) from Bedales School near Petersfield.

The festival featured music across the genres of rock, classical and jazz performed by student musicians from the school.

Home-Start Butser was selected as the local charity and representatives exhibited at the event.

Money was also raised for the school’s own bursary initiative, the John Badley Foundation.
