Have your say

DO you fancy learning how to decorate a cake, or perhaps trying your hand at knitting?

Cowplain Community College’s new range of adult and family courses have been unveiled and there is something for everyone.

Opportunities include the chance for adults to brush up their skills in courses which range from Indian and Italian cooking, dance classes, athletics through to fun numeracy and literacy courses.

Headteacher David Rowlinson said: ‘We firmly believe in providing lifelong learning opportunities for the whole of our local community.

Participation is also great fun. We hope that we will have something in our programme that will tempt many different interests.’

The school is open seven days a week for community use. Clubs and groups wishing to use the school facilities can book them through the school’s business and conference centre.
