Delight as nursery is rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted once again

A MARRIED couple have turned their hands to looking after children and have opened a new nursery.

The Mulberry Bush, in Locks Road, Locks Heath, is for children from three months to five years old. It has been set up by Rachael and Oliver Thomson.

Rachael said: ‘It’s exciting to be opening our doors and welcoming children. We are thrilled. As a mother of two, at home I spend most of my time with my children playing in the garden or pottering around the kitchen, so involving children in the growing and preparation of food seemed logical and natural.

‘Children naturally learn in these environments and they can be used as a springboard for all areas of learning.

The nursery is centred around the family kitchen and features a children’s kitchen. Each room has a colour scheme designed to create environments where children will be inspired, calmed and supported.

Rachael and Oliver will both work full-time at the nursery.
