A GROUP of students spent a week in Italy as part of a music tour.

A total of 66 pupils and staff from Ditcham Park School in Petersfield travelled to Lake Garda during the summer holidays.

They performed at a series of concerts in places including San Zero and Sirmione.

As well as performing, they enjoyed a boat trip on Lake Garda and a walking tour of Venice.

Headteacher Andrew Rowley said: ‘Once again our musicians and choir have shared their wonderful skills and talents with the people of Europe through another wonderful school music tour.

‘We are very proud of this special adventure which our pupils are offered each year through the hard work of Ed Williamson, head of music and his excellent team of staff and I am delighted that the planning for the 2014 trip is already under way.’
