FAMILIES are being invited to take part in activities at Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard during half term.

Activities will take place from Saturday until Sunday, June 2.

Free activities will be on offer with the purchase of an all attraction site ticket including entry to The Mary Rose Museum, HMS Warrior 1860, HMS Victory, National Museum of the Royal Navy, Action Stations and Harbour Tours.

Visitors to HMS Warrior 1860 can test their paddle power by making their own paddlewheel board and race from England to America.

A dedicated family area will also be found where visitors can take part in costumed role-play.

There will be toys, games and colouring sheets and a family trail that will help them to find out about the men who lived and worked on board the ship.
