A ROYAL visitor will officially open a new sixth form centre.

His Royal Highness Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex will be at Portsmouth Grammar School on Monday, September 29. He will be accompanied by the Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire.

His Royal Highness will meet Duke of Edinburgh participants from a number of schools in Portsmouth as part of his time in the city.

The new building will accommodate a large ground floor social area and cafe, alongside an exhibition facility and a suite of meeting rooms.
