COMPUTER games and IT have been used in a trial to help students learn languages.

Pupils at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, in Gosport, showed off their learning skills to county councillor Peter Edgar.

The executive member for education said: ‘For many of today’s young people mobile technology and tablets are a common part of daily life so I can appreciate the logic behind using such means to engage them in their learning.

‘It’s fantastic to see how they have been motivated and really enthused by the experience.’
