STUDENTS are backing an online initiative to try and combat the Ebola virus.

Pupils at Bedales School near Petersfield are backing the campaign called Go Blue for Ebola to help defeat the disease which has claimed an estimated 5,000 lives in West Africa.

Pupils will dress in blue next Wednesday, donating a minimum of £1 each to Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).
