SCHOLARSHIPS are being offered for a private school in Fareham.

Boundary Oak School, off Wickham Road, is awarding scholarships, which ensure pupils have a place and a reduction in school fees.

A special day is being held at the school on Friday, April 24 for keen sportsmen and women, aged eight to 11, to register their interest.

Past scholars have been involved in most sports including rugby, football, swimming, dance, gymnastics and cricket.

Headteacher Hazel Kellett said: ‘We are very aware of the amount of young talent in the area and feel it is important to give all children, as well as their families, the opportunity to not only benefit from an improved education but also fantastic preparation as possible further scholarships into some of the UK’s top senior schools.’

The school also offers scholarships for academic, creative arts, music and drama.

Boundary Oak School caters for girls and boys age three to 13 years.
