SENIOR school pupils put in some impressive performances at the Havant Rotary School Games.
It was the second day of athletics at the Mountbatten Centre in Portsmouth, for schools across the Havant area.
There were 850 participants in a wide range of athletic sports and cycling.
One of the organisers Peter Poulton said: ‘We were very pleased with the results.
‘The 100m and 300m races were particularly exciting and it showed there were some good athletes out there considering how young they all are.’
The students had the opportunity to try a number of different events and could go from running to javelin and then shot put.
Yesterday was the fourth day of the games as a whole. The major prizegiving takes place at Horizon Leisure Centre, Havant.
There will be prizes for top senior, primary, junior and infant schools plus a prize for the overall winner.
