Youngsters at St John’s College chapel choir departed for Europe on Monday as they began another choir tour – this time to Poland and The Czech Republic.
The choir, pictured, are due to perform concerts in cathedrals, chapels and churches across several European cities.
They started their tour singing mass in Our Lady in Prague and will perform in Plzen, Kladruby, Brno, and Krakow.
During the two-weeks the choir will give nine performances, returning home on Friday, August 28.
This is the choir’s second tour of the summer. At the beginning of August it returned to Windsor Castle for the sixth year as choir-in-residence performing six major services in four days, while also having the opportunity to give a one-off performance at Westminster Abbey.
Billy Roberts, 17, is the newly-appointed head of choir.
He said: ‘Singing in Windsor is always an incredible honour.
‘It was even more special because we had the opportunity to sing in Westminster Abbey. We’re now looking forward to our continental tour.’
