Student attends reception at Parliament

A STUDENT from Highbury College visited the Houses of Parliament for a special reception ahead of an international competition in Budapest.

Lewis Newton, along with the UK's other best young apprentices and students, will represent the nation in webskills design at the '˜World Skills' event.

Minister of State for Apprenticeships and Skills, Anne Milton, said: '˜You are the future, you are representing the country and doing us proud.'

Members of the team have all spent a minimum of two years in intensive training winning regional and national competitions before undergoing an extensive selection process.
