A CAREERS fair will take place at Highbury College in a bid to tackle youth unemployment.

REED NCFE is working in partnership with Highbury College to offer a recruitment service at no cost to students or employers.

They want employers to take advantage of the free recruitment service during the careers fair, which takes place on Thursday, June 13.

Nick Hughes, senior operations manager at REED NCFE said: ‘Employment outcomes are a major challenge for colleges throughout the country. Hopefully, this new relationship will help Highbury College to be responsive to this challenge and proactive in addressing the issue of youth unemployment.’

The careers fair runs from 4pm until 7pm.

It aims to create job opportunities for Highbury students completing their qualifications this summer.
