More than 120 students were involved in the production.

Carol Roberts, director and head of drama at the college, said: ‘It was absolutely brilliant, the students couldn’t have done any better – they should be very proud of themselves.’

Students and staff had from September to put together and rehearse the show which had its debut on Wednesday November 27, running until Saturday November 30.

One of the lead roles was played by Lauren Jackson, 15, who also dances in her spare time.

Nathan Chipps, 15, also played a lead role in the production and is in the Royal Ballet Associate Programme outside of college.

He said: ‘I want to have a career in musical theatre and the show gave me a further insight into that industry.’
