GOSPORT MP Caroline Dinenage has called on young people to get involved with National Citizen Service (NCS).

The NCS scheme, which is open to students taking their GCSEs this summer, involves three weeks of team-building and outdoor activities combined with 30 hours of community work. There are 660 places across the county.

Ms Dinenage said: ‘National Citizen Service is a fantastic idea and a great thing for young people to do.

‘I hope eventually all children in Gosport will be able to benefit.’
