CHILDREN are being given the chance to take part in Easter workshops and to be part of the audience for a play.

Victoryland Theatre School, Andover Road, Southsea, has found a way to keep children entertained during the Easter break by creating workshops ahead of two matinee performances.

The Plotters of Cabbage Patch Corner is the theatre’s latest production, which will be shown at St Peter’s Theatre, Fraser Road, Southsea.

The workshops will run from 12.30pm to 1.30pm and tickets cost £8.

They will provide an opportunity for children to create their own ‘cabbage patch corner’ with the help of cast members.

On Wednesday, April 20, the workshop will be open for children aged four to seven, and on Thursday for children aged eight to 12.

The play runs at 2pm and again at 7pm, with tickets costing £8 for adults, £6 for concessions and £25 for a family ticket for two adults and two children.
