YEAR 7 and 8 students shone at a national maths challenge.
The students from The Henry Cort Community College achieved four gold, seven silver, and eight bronze certificates in the UK Mathematics Trust Junior Maths Challenge.
More than 250,000 students from across the UK took part.
Year eight student Abbi Mustafa, with 92 points (out of 135) will be awarded a gold certificate along with Best in the School certificate.
Kamile Dumciute and Kory Roseby will also be awarded gold certificates.
Year 7 student, Georgia Hewet, 11, with 90 points will be awarded a gold certificate and Best in Year certificate.
Both Abbi and Georgia have been invited to sit a follow-on competition, the Junior Kangaroo.
