A UNIVERSITY journalism course has been ranked in the top three in the country.
The University of Portsmouth’s undergraduate journalism course has been recognised by the National Council for the Training of Journalists.
The course is ranked at number three in the national results table for accredited undergraduate courses.
Course leader Mary Williams said: ‘We’re delighted with such an excellent showing in the national results table. It is a fitting testament to the talent and ability of our students and the journalism team at the University of Portsmouth.
‘This is the result of a lot of hard work. We’re very proud of our NCTJ accreditation and this acknowledgment underlines the strength of the course.
‘We’re thrilled to see the sterling careers our graduates are carving out for themselves in the industry.’
