Emsworth to kick off festive season with Christmas light switch-on

Father Christmas will arrive in Emsworth tonight for the town's festive bonanza.

The fun starts from 5.15pm in St Peter’s Square, with community carol singing and music. Two of Emsworth’s youngest school pupils, Rose Jeffs and Isaac Lovell, and one our oldest residents, Win Patmore, will switch on the Christmas lights with the Mayor of Havant, Cllr Faith Ponsonby.

Kids can visit Father Christmas in his grotto at Emsworth Slipper Sailing Club, while Emsworth’s famous Lobster Pot Christmas Tree will be unveiled at 6.15pm.
