End of the line for Droxford station

For those interested in gardens and railways, this year is the last time Tony Williams will open his home and garden at the former Droxford station.

I always try to support Tony as all money raised from the event goes to the National Gardens Scheme.

The former station on the Meon Valley line is open on July 3 from 11am to 4pm. Admission £4.

Last year was a little disappointing as Hambledon, one of the main routes to Droxford, was closed because of the floods.

I am glad to say the road through the village is open once again.
