England's bloody history revisited at Westbury Manor Museum

KNIVES will be sharpened as early Anglo-Saxon living history group Weorod return to Fareham tomorrow.

The group will be in the gardens behind Westbury Manor Museum in West Street between 10.30am and 4pm and will put on a number of displays.

The free event will see the group provide its signature display titled ‘The Road to Royal Blood’ in which the group explores the past 2,000 years of England’s royal history.

Weorod leader Wayne Letting said: ‘We are really looking forward to the event. We last appeared in 2013 and had a great reception with the visitors – some stayed all day!’
