BUILDERS, tradespeople and the public are all invited to share a big breakfast in aid of charity.

The event is being held as part of Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, and will offer visitors tea, coffee and food in return for a donation to the cancer charity.

It takes place in builders merchant Days Buildbase, on Burrfields Road, Copnor, tomorrow ahead of the national event on September 30 to avoid competition from other fundraising coffee mornings.

Manager at Days Buildbase Chris Davies said: ‘Our trade customers always welcome a big mug of tea or coffee in the morning.

‘We thought it would be a good idea to add some breakfast refreshments as part of our take on the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

‘We’d like to invite anyone who’s passing on to call in and join us.’

As well as hot beverages and breakfast nibbles there will also be pastries, home-made cakes and a raffle at the event.

The fundraising cook-off runs from 8am to 11.30am. Entry is free.
