Enjoy glitz and glamour at Portsmouth Guildhall's Black and White Ball next month
City residents are invited to dance the night away at Portsmouth Guildhall's Black and White Ball on Friday, October 19.Â
The lavish fixture will welcome black-tie revellers through the venue's great bronze doors into a complimentary drinks reception, before they take their seats for a three-course dinner '“ prepared on-site using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients by the Guildhall's award-winning chefs.

Boasting a catalogue of previous performances at the FA Cup Final, The Jonathan Ross Show, Battle of the Proms and BBC Radio 2 and 4, Black and White Ball organisers anticipate the group's '˜killer heels, curves and harmonies' will be a '˜singing sensation'.
As well as keeping diners on their toes, The Rockabellas' melodic efforts will  raise funds for the Renaissance of the Guildhall, in particular the new Guildhall Studio which is due to launch later this Autumn.
As previously reported, the multi-arts space is the first stage of the Guildhall's mission to raise £15m for its Renaissance Project.Â

When the one-off Black and White Ball descends on the Guildhall next month, the venue's fundraising efforts will be boosted by a raffle, an auction and the appearance of special guest Wayne Hemingway MBE.Â
Mr Hemingway, co-founder of the fashion label Red or Dead, will be the designer of the Guildhall's new studio and Renaissance project.Â
Tickets to the Black and White ball are £55 per head, or a table for 10 is £500.Â
