NOMINATIONS are open for awards which celebrate building architecture.

The Solent Design Awards judge buildings on their design and what that design adds to the community.

People can now send in nominations for this year’s competition which is organised by the Partnership or Urban South Hampshire (PUSH).

Councillor Sean Woodward, chairman of PUSH, said: ‘It’s not just iconic buildings and spaces that we’re looking for.

‘Our judges will be looking for buildings or places of outstanding design standards, which have a positive impact on their communities.’

Entries should submitted by 4pm on September 30. Visit solentdesignawards.org.uk
