A weekend event exploring the wonders of magic, aliens and the supernatural will be open to visitors of Action Stations, in Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard.

The two-day event tomorrow and Sunday will feature displays of costumes, games and droids.

Visitors will also be able to take part in a cosplay panel as they ask their favourite science fiction film and TV characters the questions they always wished they could.

Movie fans will also be able to get a rare look at some of the most memorable sci-fi movie props.

Events and learning co-ordinator at Action Stations, Lauren Mitchell is encouraging people to come in fancy dress to get the full effect of the sci-fi extravaganza.

The event is free with a valid Action Stations single attraction ticket, which costs £4 for adults and £3 for children.
