A SCHOOL was evacuated when a fire broke out in a science lab.

Pupils had to leave their classrooms at West Hill Park School in Titchfield after the fire started.

Watch manager Paul Cambell, of Fareham fire station, said two fire engines were called to the school at 12.30pm yesterday.

He said firefighters using breathing masks went into the lab and found the fire was already out.
