Event in Fareham to mark twinning with Vannes

SAILORS will march through a town centre to mark 50 years of its twinning with Vannes, in France.

The march in Fareham will also mark HMS Collingwood’s Freedom of the Borough when it takes place next week.

Around 150 sailors will march through the high street accompanied by the Royal Marines Band. It will begin from the civic offices at 10.45am.
