A CHURCH has announced a full programme of concerts and exhibitions for the coming year.
It’s the 13th year St Peter’s Church in Petersfield has organised events and they are proving as popular as ever.
All the local senior schools will be performing, with Churcher’s College giving five concerts, Ditcham Park two and The Petersfield School and Bedales one each.
Mark Dancer will start his 13th series of summer lunchtime organ recitals with a Diamond Jubilee celebration on the June 5 bank holiday. Among the highlights include the Petersfield Chamber Choir performing Mozart’s Requiem on March 31 accompanied by Richard Pearce on the organ.
And on April 21 there will be a piano recital by Motoki Hirai, a Japanese pianist, in aid of the Tohoku Earthquake Relief Fund.
Details of the 24 events can be found in the St Peter’s free brochure, copies of which can be obtained from the church, the Tourist Information Office, the Petersfield Post or by calling St Peter’s Parish Office on 01730 260213 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
