Pat Hewitt, a volunteer for the fundraising team, said: ‘We are really looking forward to hosting this fundraising fun day for all of the family.

‘Have you been inspired by the Rio Olympics? If so, why not pop down and get involved.’

On the day, there will be half-a-mile walks, keep fit sessions, football activities and games.

The event is on Saturday, September 3 from 11am to 3pm.

To get involved collect a sponsorship form and fundraising pack from Gosport Leisure Centre.
