This year Laura Dickson, from Hambledon, will be joined by London pianist, Niamh Beddy.

Liszt, Chopin and Beethoven will fill the air at the Pastoral Centre, Park Place, at Wickham, on Friday from 7pm.

The money raised will also go to the Girls Hostel in Tanzania.

Eileen Jayne-Wood is on the organising committee.

She said: ‘Laura and Niamh have performed for us before and the concerts have been so fantastic.

‘Laura is a great supporter of both the charities.’

The hospice is a charity close to the hearts of a lot of people.

Mrs Jayne-Wood said: ‘It costs £5.2m to maintain the services at The Rowans.

‘Without the help of the local community they would not be able to provide these services to the patients and families who need them.’

Miss Dickson started learning piano aged four and won a scholarship to Wells Cathedral School, Somerset, four years later.

She has had numerous successes and reached the regional finals of the BBC’s Young Musician of the year.
