Attempt murder probe: second man arrested

A driver has been fined following a crash.

Thomas Young admitted driving through a red traffic light and hitting another vehicle while travelling in a Seat Leon on the A32 Fareham Road in Gosport on August 23 last year.

The 47-year-old, from Roman Grove, Fareham, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention when he appeared at Fareham Magistrates Court.

Young was fined 83 and ordered to pay 35 costs.

He must also pay 15 into a fund for victims of crime.

Magistrates also ordered Young's driving licence to be endorsed with six penalty points.

He also admitted driving the Seat Leon otherwise that in accordance with a licence. However no separate penalty was made.
