Fareham flower sale raises cash for charities

FLOWERS, bouquets and garlands raised cash for two good causes.

Fareham Flower Club held its annual festive flower sale in Fareham Shopping Centre last month.

The day-long event raised a total of £250 which will be split between the Salvation Army and the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

Sandy Mitchell, from the club, thanked all for their support and donations, and she encouraged people to join the club, which meets on the second Thursday of the month at Wallington Village Hall, Broadcut, Fareham, at 7.15pm.
