A MAN who breached his anti-social behaviour order for the fifth time was fined and given a community order.

Damian Nixon appeared at Fareham Magistrates’ Court for breaching his Asbo three times in June.

The 45-year-old called the emergency services without a genuine emergency despite being given the Asbo in November last year, which ordered him not to.

Nixon, of Potters Avenue in Fareham, made calls to the police after drinking alcohol on June 1, June 22 and June 26.

He was given a 12-month community order and told to complete an alcohol treatment court. He was also ordered to pay £60 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.

Sentencing, chairwoman of the magistrates Susan Hewett said: ‘The sentence is to help you as well as punish you. Make sure you try your absolute best not to call the police and to make sure you deal with the issue.’
