Fareham Meon Rotary Club donates cash to school

Wickham Church of England Primary School welcomed Tony Billings, the chairman of Fareham Meon Rotary Club to present a cheque of £968.

The school has built a close relationship with the club over the past few years, taking part in the shoebox appeal and collecting ring pulls to 
support schools in the Philippines.

Mr Billings said that he was pleased that the Rotary could now help the school.

The donation will enable children, who would otherwise be unable to go on residential visits, attend the Year 6 trip to PGL Centre in Dorset.
