AN MP has welcomed figures that show crime has fallen by more than a quarter since 2010.

Figures from the Office for National Statistics in Titchfield found recorded crime to be at its lowest level on record, dropping by 27 per cent in five years.

Fareham MP Suella Fernandes said: ‘We have been following an action plan to tackle crime. The independent Crime Survey of England and Wales shows that crime continues to fall under this government, reaching a record low.’
