FOR a quarter of a century Westbury Manor Museum has been at the heart of Fareham showcasing the town’s history.

On Saturday, this milestone anniversary was celebrated with a range of activities.

The Friends of Fareham Museum held a stand in West Street and encouraged people to look inside.

Family activities with a strawberry theme, to reflect the town’s links to strawberry farming, were held inside the museum.

Volunteer Mike Onoufriou, from Warsash, was giving guided tours of the strawberry field exhibition.

Anne Baxendall, from Friends of Fareham Museum, was at the museum when it opened and she was enjoying the celebratory event.
