FAMILIES can learn about a range of emergency services at a 999 day.

Fareham town centre is hosting the event this Saturday which will have lots of activities for children as well as the chance to meet crews and see what they do every day.

Executive member for leisure and community at Fareham Borough Council, Councillor Sue Bell, said: ‘Many children are fascinated by the emergency services so this 999 day event is a great opportunity for them to find out more about the important work they do.’

The event is in West Street between 9am and 4pm.
