A MUSICAL evening has been organised to raise money for a charity that supports families dealing with sudden death among the young.

An Evening of Talented Friends has been set up by Peta Mewett-Reading in memory of her best friend Louise Philip’s son Jack. Jack died aged 15 last July in Wiltshire from a sudden heart failure. Charity Cardiac Risk in the Young has supported the family. The fundraiser takes place on May 19 at 7.30pm at the Fareham Working Mens Club, Mill Road, Fareham.

Tickets are only available in advance and are £10. Email mewettp@googlemail.com. To donate go to justgiving.com/jackphillips
