FOUR women from a Fareham law firm took on a walking challenge for charity and raised over £1,000.

Hana Patel, Angela Pelleschi, Emma Beckhurst and Lynne Robbins all work for Jasper Vincent Solicitors in Segensworth and decided to take part in the Clarendon Way Walk last weekend.

The annual event, now in its ninth year, raises money for Naomi House Hospice and Jacks Place.

The quartet walked 14 miles from Broughton to Winchester Cathedral but there was also the option to walk from Salisbury
Cathedral to Winchester Cathedral.

They have raised £1,028.73 so far but are expecting a further £200 in donations.

They had never walked that far before but Hana found it a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

She said: ‘I was worried about doing it at first but I really enjoyed it.

‘It was such a beautiful walk, though it was quite hilly.’

Jasper Vincent Solicitors is based in Barnes Wallis Road after moving offices from Botley Road last year.
