Young citizens, those aged under 18, can be nominated for showing outstanding bravery, helping others at school/college, coping with something life-changing or giving unpaid voluntary service.

Adult citizens, who are over 18 can be nominated for providing regular voluntary service to benefit the community, giving up time to look after the environment or caring for an individual with a long-term illness.

The winners will be elected at next May’s mayor making ceremony after being chosen by the council’s executive in March. To nominate your citizen of honour go to fareham.gov.uk/about_the_council/citizen_awards.
