PRIMAL Scream will play all of their classic Screamadelica album as headliners of Camp Bestival this summer.

The line-up for the south coast family festival also includes Blondie, Mark Ronson and Laura Marling, and will take place at Lulworth Castle, in Dorset, on July 28.

Nineties rockers Primal Scream are celebrating 20 years since the release of Screamadelica – their award-winning and critically acclaimed third album.

Festival curator and Radio 1 DJ Rob da Bank said: ‘Screamadelica is undoubtedly in my top five albums of all time.

‘It came out just as I was launching myself into raveland, soundtracked so many late nights and early mornings and is at heart one of the best combinations of dance, soul and rock and roll ever.’

Camp Bestival is the ‘baby sister’ to the main Bestival – the Isle of Wight’s award winning gathering in September.
