The groups range from a charity which supports young people to a project that puts on football sessions.

On October 17, residents in Gosport will have the chance to cast their vote – the last time they will be able to pick the winners of the cash.

A previous winner of the funding, Rachel Hodson, from Autism Isolation No More, said: ‘You Decide was the instrumental starting block for Autism Isolation No More.

‘Without its help and support it would not have been possible and for the residents of Gosport to support us was phenomenal.

‘I can’t put into words the gratitude that I have for the You Decide event. The project has provided me with my purpose and mission.’

The funding is given by Hampshire County Council with the scheme run by Gosport Community Safety Partnership.
