A DROP-IN session for people to learn about fostering is being held.

Portsmouth City Council has organised the event for Tuesday which will give information on how to foster children in the area.

The session held at the Civic Offices, on Guildhall Square, will have a presentation from 7.15pm with the event on until 8pm.

Cllr Ryan Brent, the council’s cabinet member for children’s social care, said ‘We are looking for foster carers who can provide stability and care for some of our most vulnerable children and young people.

‘I would urge anyone considering fostering to come along to one of our session.’
