The Rowans Hospice has announced that it is launching its brand new Tea Party fundraising packs for its Silver Jubilee Appeal.

The beautifully-designed packs can now be ordered online at www.silverjubilee.rowanshospice.co.uk
Marketing director Theresa Bailey said: 'Hosting a Silver Jubilee Appeal Tea Party is a really easy, sociable and fun way to show your support for the Rowans, your local hospice, whilst raising much-needed funds for our ambitious appeal to totally renovate the hospice.'
The Tea Party pack includes everything you need, from invitations and posters to bunting and a tablecloth. We've even included a ‘How To’ guide, packed with delicious recipes, fantastic ideas and top tips on hosting a successful fundraising event.
We really hope that this will be a summer of Rowans Silver Jubilee Tea Parties, that everyone from right across our area of care will get involved with and share their photos of their #silverjubileetea.
Theresa added: 'There are no restrictions on where you hold your tea party. It can be on a barge, with your Scout group, in the office or just with a small group of friends in your garden.
'Whatever you choose to do, we will be extremely grateful. Every single penny you raise will help build a hospice fit for the future care of our community.'
Launched last October as part of the celebration of the Rowans' 25 years of caring for our community, the Silver Jubilee Appeal needs to raise £7.5m to totally renovate your local community hospice.
The work is needed to make sure that the Rowans is fully-equipped to meet the demands of an ageing population with more complex illnesses, including dementia.
Further information about the appeal can be found on the Silver Jubilee website at www.silverjubilee.rowanshospice.co.uk . The website contains information on the aims and vision of the hospice, stories from current patients, carers, volunteers and staff about what the hospice means to them, plus ways that you can get involved in supporting the appeal.
