FIREFIGHTERS were called to a school in Fareham after a fire yesterday.

One appliance was called to Wallisdean Junior School at 2.50pm after a hob fire.

A spokesman said: ‘The fire, which involved a cooker, was out on arrival.

‘We inspected it and made sure it was safe.’
