FIREfighterS from Havant and Emsworth stations were called to the Baker army barracks on Thorney Island after an isolated pumping unit caught fire.

Crews from both stations were called to the barracks at 7.30pm on Saturday.

The pumping unit, which was away from any other building, was switched off, and the crews spent around 90 minutes putting the fire out.
