FIREFIGHTERS were called out to rescue three children at three different locations.

A crew from Havant fire station was called to Scratchface Lane in Bedhampton, to a report of a child stuck in a swing.

They attended at around 5.55pm and sent just one crew.

Then at 8.42pm they were called to similar incident, where another child was stuck in a swing.

They went to Botley Drive in Leigh Park to free the youngster.

It took the crews around 20 minutes to help each child out from the swing – they did not need to cut open the swing.

And at 8.40pm a crew from Cosham fire station helped rescue an 11-year-old child stuck in a tree.

The child had become stuck at College Park, in Copnor Road, Portsmouth.
