Fire destroys workshop in Gosport 17th Century Village
A WOODEN workshop in Gosport's 17th Century Village attraction has been destroyed by fire.
Gosport firefighters were called out at 7.50pm last night following reports of a blaze in a smithy used for heating metal.
Crew manager Paul Temperley said crews arrived and put out the fire using a hose reel and a jet, but the building had burnt down.
