Fire station condemns youngsters lighting fires at recreation ground
FIREFIGHTERS issued stern safety advice to children over the weekend.
On Sunday, Fareham Fire Station announced on Twitter it had attended reports of youngsters lighting fires at Wicor Recreation Ground in Portchester, just before 4.30pm on Saturday afternoon.
In the tweet, a spokesperson for the station condemned the behaviour, going on to say: ‘It’s not big or clever to play with fire kids. ’
